GLREA (Great Lakes Renewable Energy Assoc.) presented The Exemplary Project Award for the 1-800-LAW-BUILDING to Prasad Gullapalli and Srinergy, along with Andy Levin of Lean & Green Michigan. The 1-800-LAW-FIRM building on Lahser Rd. in Southfield is Michigan’s first privately financed PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) project. The project includes solar panels and micro-wind turbines on the rooftop; solar-covered carports and electric vehicle charging stations; indoor and outdoor efficient LED lights and an ecologically friendly rooftop solarium. It will also feature energy optimization that reduces power fluctuations and improves the performance of computers. GLREA is a statewide non-profit providing education, training, and advocacy to encourage a greater use of renewable energy in Michigan.
